How to make your SMART goals SMARTER:

I have paid careful attention to make my goals SMART :

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Relevant
  • Time-frame specific

And built in with accountability, because:

  1. It accelerates your performance.
  2. It helps you measure your success and progress.
  3. It keeps you engaged.
  4. It will keep you responsible.
  5. It will validate your thoughts and ideas.

How to build in accoutability or Responsibility to make SMART goals SMARTeR:

  1. Create some goals for yourself (Done : in this blog)
  2. Write your goals down (Done : in this blog)
  3. Find a friend or family member to hold you accountable (Done : three of my best friends have agreed to help me)
  4. Establish a “check-in system” (Done : my three best friends will check into me by email once a week. I will answer them by email on the progress for each goal.)

Hi Marcin! Thanks for dropping by! Do you have your blog set up? I must be in module 3 also but these days I’m really overwhelmed. I think I’ve bitten off more than I can chew: full-time day job, household with three children AND these goals of mine… I fully agree, its not easy. What’s difficult for you?
